St. Francis vs Batavia Tennis Supply Fundraiser

Friday Night Lights!

The biggest girls tennis event in our local tennis community became the perfect opportunity to support local underprivileged youth. We partnered with the coaching staff to get the word out and our first fall Supply Drive was a huge success!

Every year cross-town rivals battle in a special Friday Night tennis match under the lights at the St.Francis Tennis Courts. Thousands of spectators, families, and players turn up to watch great tennis, enjoy food trucks, and listen to the school rock band. Given the number of tennis enthusiasts coming together, we knew we had a great opportunity. We worked with the team organizers and coaches to get the word out that we were collecting supplies, delivered a donation drop box, and passed out handouts explaining our cause.

We are very proud to say that on September 6th, 2024 we are reached a new record in collections of tennis supplies! Thank you to the St.Francis and Batavia High school families for your generous support. All equipment will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of South Elgin Illinois. Any of the tennis balls that are no longer usable on the tennis court will be donated to the Anderson Animal Shelter in Elgin Illinois.
